To be more flexible we ordered 2 cottage for one week each at Sykes Cottages. Both cottages lie outside of villages and very quiet. The locations are marvelous.
The first cottage is located in the east, some miles away from the coast near the small town of Turriff. It is large sized, actually for 6 persons and really beautyful. It has a very large garden and 2 conservatories.
The second cottage is located in the Kilmartin Glem in the west in the middle of sheeps pastures. It is much smaller, but also very nice and cozy.
Both cottages are perfect starts for tours into the near and farther environment.
