In August we traveled to Scotland for vacation. We had 2 cottages for a week each and took a lot of tours from there. The picture shows all visited locations. Blue are the hotels and cottages, green the Whisky distilleries and yellow all the other sights.

After arrival in Glasgow we stayed a night in Dundee, then we drove to the first cottage near Turiff. After a week we changed to the second cottage in the west (Kilmartin).
